![]() ![]() More fuel means you need an air box and exhaust to compliment it to get full goodie Outta everything. The trucks weight is 9000lbs when fuel tank is full and I'm in it. My truck already has a flatbed, 115 gallon fuel tank, Miller welder and toolbox. I use my truck pulling fertilizer wagons, gravity flow wagons and camping trailer. I looked up the 7.3 specs for a '99 (235hp ) and a '02 (275hp ) and noticed the manual transmission have significant more power. Which one would be the best for a 2002 7.3 in a F350 with 6 speed manual transmission? My brother in law has an Edge programmer in his '99 F350 with an automatic transmission and he has his set at 130hp over stock and he's getting alot better fuel economy than he was before the programmer. ( logon | register )ħ.3 Powerstroke Programmer Jump to page : 1 Now viewing page 1 your not getting 140HP increase with a stock motor and just a chip. Chips don't do shit unless you have ALL the other mods to back it up. You want to stack, sell it and buy a cummins. Just a slight haze when ripping down the highway at 33psi.ĭon't stack chips on a 7.3L. Boosts to about 33psi and only smokes when you bog it down. I have 4.10's and it doesn't like to get over 85mph, but damn does it pull. 3inch intake plenums (you probably already have them on your year truck)ĭual super duty electric fuel pumps with pre and post filters (mounted on frame rail)ġ.0 exhaust housing (pulls a trailer ALL the time, so I wanted quicker spool time)Ĭrank case vent mod (no oil in intercooler)Ĭheap DYI fuel regulator using factory regulator (all cut up for the mod) ![]()
